Nanhu is a Chinese town not too far from Shanghai which, in the last few years, has twinned with my home town. One of the official twinning ceremonies is captured in the picture. As the main promoter I got nominated as Council delegate to represent the town of Tivoli in the twinning ceremonies. It has been an occasion to promote Italy in the far East and, why not? to draw my fellow citizens towards such a rich and different culture like the Chinese one.

Thanks to my personal involvement, and support from the very same “Yellow and Red” club,  the Italian Association Roma Club (A.I.R.C), and with the blessing of the Sensi family, we have launched the first Roma fan club in China. The head office of the brand new Roma Club Shanghai is at the Agorà centre. The centre has made the offices available also for future promotional activities of the team, as well as for supporters’ meet ups and membership recruitment of all Rome supporters, whether Italian or not, and in particular of Chinese supporters.
